Accountants most trusted source of business advice
According to a recent survey of over 1,000 business owners by software provider Sage UK, accountants are increasingly the first choice for small businesses seeking business advice.
The survey found 44% of owners turn to accountants first for advice, compared to 21% who search the internet and 18% who turn to business groups and industry associations.
In fact, 21% of business owners say they are more open and honest with their accountants than their bankers, and 15% are more honest with accountants than they are with their friends, family - even spouses!
